Mutha came THROUGH!
Beyoncé kicked off the 2016 BET Awards with a powerful message and
a little help from Kendrick Lamar. Debuting a new remix of “Freedom”, Beyonce had bad ass back up dancers and ankle deep water everywhere.
One of the biggest surprises of the evening was when Kendrick Lamar popped up at the front of the stage with a whole new fire verse on the LEMONADE cut.
“Revolution televised, hoping that you see the sign / Meet me at the finish line, 40 acres give me mine.”
The #Beyhive must be rejoicing because not only did Bey have a banging’ performance, she won a total of five awards including Video Of The Year for “Formation”, Best female R&B/Pop Artist and the FANdemonium award. Just before jet setting off to Europe to launch the next leg of her “Formation World Tour.”
