after watching the entire video I was like ‘this is pretty freakin’ dope!’ Drake collaborated with creative director Fleur & Manu for his first single, Energy, from his If You’re Reading This Its To Late, project . It’s almost impossible to blink while watching in fear you may miss Drake as he impersonates celebrities like Oprah, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Floyd Mayweather & even President Obama.
The song directly deals with negativity, Drake claiming others (re: society) are trying to “take his energy.” The video has him almost completely reversing the roles, parodying pop stars in some of their biggest moments. I thought the video was brilliant! But again, that may just be me having a crush on Drizzy.
I mean, have you seen him lately. . .
