Lifetime is releasing a documentary on the story of Whitney Houston and her daughter Bobbi Kristina titled: Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina: Didn’t We Almost Have It All.

The docu will take a deep dive into their lives and their tragic deaths featuring interviews from close friends, family and former co-workers.

“She just wanted to be a mother,”  one person says of Houston in a new trailer released on Tuesday (Dec. 22). “She loved her daughter more than anything.”

The iconic singer died in 2012 at just 48-years-old, and her daughter followed in an similar manner in 2015 at 22. Lime mother like daughter,  both were found unresponsive in their bathtubs, and struggled with drug and alcohol abuse throughout their lives.

Whitney Houston & Bobbi Kristina: Didn’t We Almost Have It All is set to premiere on Lifetime Saturday, Feb. 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
