Lil Wayne isn’t letting all of his current legal troubles stop him from giving the fans free new music. He just announced that after already releasing two projects this year, the Young Money boss is releasing a third project, No Ceilings 2 mixtape.
It also happens to be the sixth anniversary of the original No Ceilings, & Young Money president Mack Maine even released a sequel on twitter with the hashtag #NC2. I’m wondering if the snippet we heard of Wayne rapping over Drake’s Back 2 Back beat is on #NC2. Huge fan of No Ceilings 1 but I’m not sure how excited I am for this one.
, Wayne released his mixtape Sorry 4 the Wait 2 followed by his FWA (Free Weezy Album) in July but we’re still waiting for that highly anticipated Carter V.
Wayne told ESPN Radio last month that the album is finished and he’s currently working on a deal to release it. “What I am working on right now is a comfortable way and a comfortable deal to put Tha Carter V out,” he said.
