The 2016 Academy awards is days away, and all of the pre-events and parties are in the works. One of the biggest events of the week was the 2016 Essence Black Women In Hollywood luncheon. Stars like Zendaya, LaLa Anthony, Oprah, and KeKe Palmer were in the building for this amazing and uplifting event.
All of the women looked to die for on the red carpet! It was beautiful to see via social media all of the love the women had for one another. As women in the entertainment industry it is important to uplift one another, rather then envy and tear each other down. We are all in this together, and we should work our hardest and clap for others who do the same. Women always think that they should compete with one another, when in reality the strongest and most powerful women is one who is worried about herself and confident enough to root for others. The black girl magic was shining!
