Young Thug Admits He Almost Died

Young Thug is recalling a time he almost lost his life.

The Atlanta rapper is thankful to be alive after a near-death experience after suffering from liver and kidney failure.

During Offsetā€™s latest ā€œOffset and Friendsā€ virtual music experience, Thugga revealed how it all went down.Ā  He was hospitalized for over two weeks and was told he couldā€™ve died. ā€œI was in the hospital for like 17 days. IĀ left the hospital, my mom didnā€™t trust it. So I left the hospital, we went to another hospital, they was like, ā€˜Man, you got liver and kidney failure. You supposed to be dead. Basically, youā€™ve been dead.ā€™ Iā€™ve been killed before.ā€

Well, Praise be to Jesus he is still here with us!

The ā€œOffset and Friendsā€™Ā  livestream performance also included Rich the Kid and SAINt JHN all while benefitting the Atlanta Community Food Bank for COVID-19.

ā€œSo, I kinda just stayed in the bed and I was like, ā€˜Yo call the ambulance. I canā€™t move my body. Then later, when the ambulance came, I couldnā€™t get out of the bed. They had to get me out of the bed basically. I felt like my whole body was numb and I couldnā€™t move.ā€
