Needless to say Lil Wayne is not too happy about Young Thug naming his next project the ‘Carter 6’. Recently during a show in Jackson, Mississippi, Lil Wayne stopped the show to say,
“Before I go any further, I want ya’ll to do me a favor and stop listening to some ni**as that pose naked on their motherfuckin’ album cover…”
Thugga then responded via Instagram video claiming he would never beef with his idol (Wayne) & that this album title is simply paying homage.
Young Thugs’ Carter 6 is set to be released April 17th. Meanwhile, still no up date on any release of Wayne’s highly anticipated Carter 5.
I’m just totally confused as to the real motive behind Thugga naming his album the Carter 6 in the first place. Homage or low key shade?
