Young Thug is recalling a time he almost lost his life.

The Atlanta rapper is thankful to be alive after a near-death experience after suffering from liver and kidney failure.

During Offset’s latest “Offset and Friends” virtual music experience, Thugga revealed how it all went down.  He was hospitalized for over two weeks and was told he could’ve died. “I was in the hospital for like 17 days. I left the hospital, my mom didn’t trust it. So I left the hospital, we went to another hospital, they was like, ‘Man, you got liver and kidney failure. You supposed to be dead. Basically, you’ve been dead.’ I’ve been killed before.”

Well, Praise be to Jesus he is still here with us!

The “Offset and Friends’  livestream performance also included Rich the Kid and SAINt JHN all while benefitting the Atlanta Community Food Bank for COVID-19.

“So, I kinda just stayed in the bed and I was like, ‘Yo call the ambulance. I can’t move my body. Then later, when the ambulance came, I couldn’t get out of the bed. They had to get me out of the bed basically. I felt like my whole body was numb and I couldn’t move.”

After his shocking revelation, Thugger performed “Killed Before” off his Super Slimey mixtape with Future.

Thug is feeling better and is focused on his music. He and Chris Brown are set to release their Slime&B collaborative project on May 5
