Bobby Shmurda’s long-awaited trial date has been pushed back yet again, for a forth time!
On Monday (May 9), the Brooklyn rapper’s trial on a series of charges was moved to Sept. 12, according to Billboard. The trial was initially scheduled for Feb. 22 & he has been denied bail at least seven times.
Bobby Shmurda has been in jail since his arrest in Dec. 2014 after an investigation from the NYPD. He now faces conspiracy, gun, and drug charges.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Shmurda planned to sue the NYPD over an alleged false arrest, claiming that it also caused him permanent “nervous shock and mental anguish.”
Hopefully, September 12th he will get some answers but for now, Mr. Shmurda will be spending another summer behind bars.
