Dave Chappelle has two new hourlong comedy specials premiering on Netflix March 21st.
One is called Dave Chappelle: The Age of Spin (filmed at Los Angeles’ Palladium in March 2016) and the other is Dave Chappelle: Deep in the Heart of Texas (Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater in Austin in April 2015).The specials, both directed by Stan Lathan, mark his first in 12 years.
Chappelle jokes about the demographics of health trends, ISIS, and OJ Simpson. And A Tribe Called Quest’s performs as musical guest.
“I’ve been gone for a very long time,” Dave Chappelle says to open the trailer for his upcoming Netflix special. “Surprise—it’s me.”
Dave Chappelle has one more Netflix special to record that was apart of the deal as well.
All of a sudden Netflix & Chillin’ next weekend sounds like a plan. Dave Chappelle’s triumphant return is a must see.
