Over the weekend rumors started circulating that Charlotte won the bid to host the 2017 All-Star Weekend & the official announcement is set to be made Tuesday!
NBA Commissioner, Adam Silver, previously expressed his sureness that the Queen City would get the opportunity to host All-Star weekend but that it was just a matter of what year. Now, after placing an official bid last summer and plans of a number of upgrades to be done at Time Warner Cable Arena, the Hornets organization will be the official 2017 hosts.
The official dates have yet to be released but All-Star weekend is typically held in February.
I’m thinking visiting Charlotte for All-Star ’17 is a must!
