Dr. Dre’s wife just filed for divorce and there was no pre-nuptial when they married in 1996.
Unfortunately, Nicole Young, Dr. Dre’s wife of 24 years filed the official divorce paperwork today citing irreconcilable differences.
The music mogul, 55, married the lawyer, 50, in 1996 and they have two grown up children together.
The age of their kids – son Truice, 23, and daughter Truly, 19 so child support won’t be an issue. However, when it comes to spousal support, the legendary music mogul may have to cough up half his fortune. The mogul is said to be worth a whopping $820 million, making him the fourth richest rapper in the world, behind Diddy ($885 million).
As we know, a major part of Dre’s fortune comes from his founding of the Beats Electronics brand.
Dr. Dre, who is not a very active social media user, last posted Nicole on his feed back in 2018.
He shared a romantic photo of them on a yacht captioned, “Was just an average Tuesday. This is what the fuck we do!!!”
Well, I guess they don’t anymore. 💔
Meanwhile, Dr. Dre was recently spotted back in the studio with Snoop Dogg.
