He isn’t the only Doctor receiving backlash right now. Dr. Oz , who gained notoriety as a popular guest on the “The Oprah Winfrey Show” in the early 2000s, is now apologizing after suggesting that losing 2-3% of children isn’t that bad if schools decide to open back sooner than later adding that “it might be a tradeoff some folks would consider.”
Dr Oz. apologized for his comments after the backlash, saying
“I’ve realized my comments on risks around opening schools have confused and upset people, which was never my intention.”
