Some of the industry’s biggest stars seem to have better things to do during this years biggest night in music. Drake, Kanye West, Justin Bieber, and Frank Ocean all  are reportedly skipping out on this years Grammy awards next week in Los Angeles.

Ocean, who released Blonde and Endless last year, failed to submit either song for consideration by the award show. He even bashed the highly admired award saying,  “it just doesn’t seem to be representing very well for people who come from where I come from, and hold down what I hold down.” He also called it “dated.”

“I’d rather this be my Colin Kaepernick moment for the Grammys,” he added, “than sit there in the audience.”  That’s right sis!

Kanye West, has a total of eight nominations, but informed his fans during a concert back in October that if Frank Ocean wasn’t nominated, he wasn’t attending.

If [Frank’s] album’s not nominated in no categories, I’m not showin’ up to the Grammys.”

Oh and Drake won’t be attending either. Despite his own eight nods, he will be overseas on his “Boy Meets World Tour.”

Justin Bieber, who is up for Album of the Year, just doesn’t give a fuck and will also be a no-show. According to TMZ, the artists feel that the Grammys are “out of touch and arguably irrelevant.” WELP.

The shall still go on! The 59th Annual Grammy Awards air Feb.12 with performances by Adele, Bruno Mars, and John Legend, among other celebrity guest, we hope.
