Will Tory Lanez may be facing assault charges for his alleged involvement in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting.
Well, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office is considering charging the Toronto rapper with felony assault with a firearm from the infamous July 12th incident in Hollywood Hills.
Megan Thee Stallion speaks out and shares an image of her gunshot wounds after people accused her of lying about being shot:

However, it may not be such an open and closed case. There now may be some difficulty in actually charging Tory Lanez with the new charge because of something that Megan noted in the caption of the injury photos she posted on IG (which has now been removed.)
The initial caption read:
I got hit at the back of my feet because when I got shot I was WALKING AWAY FACING THE BACK. why would I lie abt getting shot?
She reportedly had never mentioned she wasn’t looking at the alleged shooter/ facing the back. This small detail could indeed make it hard to charge Tory Lanez with any additional charges.
Tory Lanez may indicate that the shooting was accidental.
Either way we are still praying for a full recovery for Megan and that the case gets the justice she deserves. Tory Lanez has yet to speak out about the incident.
