“Where there’s a will, there’s a way, where there’s a man, there’s a scam.”
Branden Miller’s infamous character Joanne The Scammer is bringing her scammin’ to Netflix! Or…something like that.
Reportedly, a project is being created by Joe Mande and will feature the viral sensation doing what she does best- scamming men out of their riches.
No word on the exact network but during a recently interview on Janet Mock’s Never Before podcast, Miller admitted that he was looking to do a ‘sitcom’ with ‘Netflix folks.’

Will it be a sitcom?
We’re trying to do that. I can’t even speak that far ahead because I don’t even know. All I know is we start off with her being married to this rich white older guy, or maybe he’s not even older. And he drops her, so she’s trying to get to that place again of being Caucasian – whatever she thinks that is.
PAPER Magazine even confirmed the news saying, “We are currently working on the creative and will be taking it out to buyers and distribution partners soon.”
In the mean time, just prepare watch Joanne’s new caucasian life on the small screen very soon.
