When flexin for the ‘gram goes wrong, ya mama might not bail ya out!

That’s what 23-year-old  Tarique Peters  just found out after having to spend hours of his vacation in a Hawaii jail.

See Peters arrived in Oahu, Hawaii on May 11th and then proceeded to leave his hotel using public transportation

“Authorities became aware of his social media posts from citizens who saw posts of him — on the beach with a surfboard, sunbathing, and walking around Waikiki at night,” the statement said.

He posed for photos along the beach, surfed and sunbathed all over the ‘gram, living his best life.

The issue here is that since April 1, the Governor of Hawaii made it clear that travelers must self-quarantine for 14 days before venturing out to the islands per an executive order. Once agents confirmed his whereabouts with the hotel, Peters was arrested and charged with violating the state’s strict rule of quarantining upon arrival.

Meanwhile back in the Bronx:

His mother, Marcia Peters, says she doesn’t feel sorry for her son because she told him not to go! According to the NYPOST:

“He had no business going there.”

She continued,

“The rules are all over. I told him not to travel. I told him not to go. I told him to cancel all his vacation (plans) because he knows what’s going on in America and all over.”

When it comes to helping her son get out of jail, well:

“Where am I going to get $4,000 from? I don’t know that he has $4,000. He ain’t rich like that. We gonna have to work something out.”

Mann this reminds me of another Tarique that was hardheaded. What’s up with that?
