A dream come true for  Mr. West.

The Gap just announced a 10-year partnership with Yeezy! Mr. West will be designing a line of clothing for men, women, and kids that will be sold at the retailer in 2021.

“Under West’s creative direction, the YEEZY design studio will develop the new line to deliver modern, elevated basics for men, women and kids at accessible price points, with the creative process just getting underway,” read a press release. “Additionally, West’s design vision will extend to unique YEEZY Gap expressions in Gap stores and digital channels over time.”

Kanye even shared a sneak peek of what we can expect from the collab:

So CHEERS to a full circle moment for the controversial creative genius as actually worked at the Gap as a teen in hometown of Chicago!

“We are excited to welcome Kanye back to the Gap family as a creative visionary, building on the aesthetic and success of his YEEZY brand and together defining a next-level retail partnership,” Mark Breitbard, Global Head of Gap Brand, said in the press release.

Back in 2015, you may recall Kanye telling that he wanted to be a creative director for Gap. “One of my dreams was to be the head creative director of the Gap,” he said. “I’d like to be the Steve Jobs of the Gap … [I want] full Hedi Slimane creative control of the Gap.”
